Initial Setup & Printer Configuration
Before creating your first bill, it is highly recommended to configure your shop details and printer.
- Shop Profile: Go to Settings and enter your Shop Name & Phone Number. These will appear on all your printed bills and PDFs.
- Printer Setup: The Billing APP strictly supports 80mm (3-inch) Thermal Printers to ensure standard professional receipt formatting.
- You can connect your printer via USB, Bluetooth, or Network (Wi-Fi/LAN). Go to the Printer Configuration tab and pair your 80mm thermal printer seamlessly.
- Language: You can enable Regional Language support while creating bills if you want to print item names in either language as per your requirement.
2
Inventory & Stock Management
Organize your products effectively to speed up billing later.
- Add Categories: Open the Inventory tab and create categories (e.g., Groceries, Electronics). You can assign a specific color to each category for quick visual identification.
- Add Items: Inside a category, add new items. Provide a standard English Name, a Regional Name, and set the default Rate along with the master unit.
- Units Setup: Define a Master Unit (e.g., Kg) and an Alternate Unit (e.g., GRAM). The app will automatically handle the math while billing.
- Maintain Stock: Use the Stock tab to record incoming stock. The app automatically deducts stock when you generate a bill. Low stock alerts will help you re-order in time.

Creating Bills using Smart Num Pad
Generating invoices is the fastest part of the app thanks to our optimized layouts.
- Choose a Layout: You can select between List, Grid, or Hybrid layout. We highly recommend the Hybrid Layout for the best experience.
- Smart Num Pad: Do not waste time typing names. Use the smart on-screen Num Pad to quickly tap quantities and enter amounts. It fetches the default rate automatically.
- Edit on the Fly: If you are giving a special discount, you can manually edit the rate of an item specifically for that single bill without changing the master inventory rate.
- Checkout: Review the cart, select a saved Customer/Party (or enter a new name), and click the Print icon to instantly push the receipt to your 80mm thermal printer.

Managing Parties & Ledger (Khata)
Keep track of your regular customers and their outstanding balances effortlessly.
- Add a Party: In the Parties/Ledger tab, you can add your regular customers with their phone numbers and addresses.
- Give Credit: When creating a bill for a saved party, you can mark the bill as "Unpaid" or "Partial Payment". The pending amount is automatically added to their Ledger balance.
- Receive Payments: When a customer pays off their debt, go to their Ledger profile and record a "Payment Received" entry. This will immediately reduce their outstanding balance.
- Full History: You can view a chronological list of every purchase they made and every payment they gave, ensuring zero disputes over money.
5
Bill History & Sharing PDF
Never lose track of a past transaction.
- Bill History: Navigate to the History tab to see every invoice ever generated, sorted by date.
- Search: Use the search bar to find a specific bill by the Customer's Name or the exact Date of billing.
- Re-print or Share: Open any old bill to re-print it to your thermal printer. If the customer is not in the shop, click the Share PDF button. The app will generate a highly professional A4/Receipt PDF that you can send directly via WhatsApp or Email.
6
